March Block - Stephanie

Pheww....I made Stephanie's 2 blocks tonight. I hope she likes them...they might be too safe? Don't know, but overall I'm happy with how they turned out! I still have Sara's to do for the Pieced Together QB, however it involves paper piecing which I haven't done yet. Excited to try something new, but don't want to screw it up! We'll see what happens...I had hoped to get it done sooner, but I've been planning my daughter's first birthday party and getting ready for her baptism - which also involves some sewing and knitting. Many WIPs!

Recent Knitting Projects

I am seriously behind at sewing and feel bad because I haven't finished February's block for my virtual quilting bee...I need to get down to it. I have been knitting baby hats, etc. and now am making a bolero for my daughter's baptism. I'm looking for a good pattern for a dress...not necessarily a gown but something modern, a-line and simple. I still could knit her a Debbie Bliss dress that I saw in one of her books (which is way too cute) but don't know if knit on knit is too much. I have until mid-April. Any ideas out there? Let me know! I'm open to any!!

All of my fabric swaps are in the mail as well as my block for Project Improv (even though it was done in Jan - ) ...so that's good!

Knitting Frenzy

I seem to alternate between sewing and knitting and lately I have been knitting! (hence the lack of posts) I came across a fabulous giveaway tonight at kristenunraveled.blogspot.com! In order to fund her love of fabric, she is selling some yarn! Hard call....I'm crossing my fingers that I win the yarn...she's giving away some fat quarters..and it's the winner's choice! Ciao for now. Back to my next knitting project...
