Here are those string blocks I was talking about in an earlier post. I started this project some time ago with the intention that I would slowly do a block here and there using up my scraps and then someday make a picnic blanket or play mat.
Wow, that's absolutely gorgeous. I should do one like that (yeah, right, along with all the other 40 times I've said that before............) If that's a play mat, I wanna come for a playdate!!! It would be wonderful for a picnic blanket (or a throw for the back of my black leather couch!!)
