Project Improv - Pink/Orange Block

I love how my first improvised block turned out. I definitely enjoyed the process of just "winging it" as I went along...so freeing compared to cutting precisely. I can get lost and paralyzed by decisions about fabric so I just decided to put this aside and sew as I go!! I'm thrilled with the results!

I'm not one who likes to measure so I think this method is for me! Better than overanalyzing which is what I tend to do - and then nothing gets done.

I'm so inspired by all of the blocks that are being posted on flickr. I would definitely welcome any feedback about mine.

  2. looks lovely, I haven't started my blocks yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I like your colours, I've chosed blue/green, don't think I've ever used orange - perhaps I should!
